Gateway’s Summer Prayer List

Please join with Gateway parents in praying thanks and making request from this list during the coming summer months:

Thank You  LORD for…

·        spiritual and academic growth in Gateway students.

·        excellent teachers and staff.

·        stable enrollment, finances and PTF fundraising successes.

·        the K-2 classrooms and 10-Plex moved to the Lighthouse Campus.

·        successes in ACSI Academic Meets in music, speech, spelling  and math.

·        weekly increasing enrollment for the 2006-07 school year.

·        great graduations and finish of the 2005-06 school year.

Help us LORD to…

·        enroll at least 25 more new students!

·        set up the new K-1st combination classroom for waiting students.

·        increase our funding needed to get the 10-Plex operational.

·        begin our WASC Accreditation for the Middle School and High School.

·        have a great beginning to our 2006-07 school year.

·        enjoy the summer and have stronger families at Gateway

 

Summer Sessions 2006

Last Day to enroll is June 23!

This Summer Session is highly recommended for students

scoring on the Stanford 10 Achievement Test at or below the 60th NP (National Percentile)  for the Complete Battery, Total Reading and/or Total Mathematics .

Enrichment classes include Computer, Tae Kwon-Do, math and reading enrichment, PE, art and lots of fun!  Hot lunches and Extended Day Care are also available. Your child(ren)’s neighborhood playmates are also invited to attend. Enroll for one, two or as many weeks as you like. Extra enrollment forms are included in your Report Card mailing and are available at the Golden Hills office.

R        THANK YOU Dale Doty   for picking  up  a portable basketball standard and three tether ball poles for the LH playground.

R        THANK YOU Mr. Ed Rios (Brentwood) for donating the portable basketball hoop and tether ball pole.

R        THANK YOU to the Rodriguez Family for donating a complete PC computer.

R        THANK YOU to the Nijhuis Family for donating a violin to the Music Department.

Gateway’s fiscal year ends in June.  Please submit all outstanding tuition payments, extended day care fees, reimbursement requests and other bookkeeping items by JUNE23!!  Please allow sufficient time for processing.  Call Diane Kristensen at 634-0493 if you have any questions. Thank You.

 

Advertising Gifts Needed

Gateway is soliciting designated gifts to pay for newspaper advertising in order to enroll an additional 25 new students by

July 1.  Please contact Peggy Collins in the GH Office if you would like to cover the costs for this advertising.  Our current advertising budget is depleted. All gifts are IRS tax deductible.
