Exciting Events and
Positive Programs
As the final weeks of this year are now before us, here are
some exciting and exhilarating Gateway events to get ready to enjoy:
Lion Roam-A-Thon
This Friday, May 7 from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm at the Lighthouse Campus all students will be participating in the
pledged lap running and fun carnival.
This is our final and most important fundraiser for ending the school
year in the black. Gateway needs 100% participation. Please refer to the
handout in the Family Envelope.
DAILY
HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
May 15 begins our long-awaited Daily
hot Lunch Program for all students in grades K-12.
We have
contracted with
Super Summer Sessions
As much as everyone cherishes getting into summer
time schedules, Gateway is offering next year’s 1st – 6th
grades AM half-day summer sessions for enrichment and fun for five weeks.
Parents may enroll their child(ren) for one or all of the weeks. Enrichment
classes include math and reading review, PE, art and hands-on science and
technology. The cost will be $90 per
week with options for Tai Kwon Do and a daily hot lunch. Enrollment forms will
come home next Wednesday. Classes will
be limited to 20 students. Parents may additionally enroll students in the
Extended Care program before and after the summer session classes. Please refer to the schedule in your Family
Envelope.

Annual
Meeting May 22
All parents, please
remember to reserve the evening of
Monday, May 22 to attend
the Annual Meeting of Gateway Christian School.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm at the Lighthouse Campus,
Signing-Out
Please remember to sign
your child out at the office when you come to take him/her out of school for an
appointment or any other reason. The
Gateway staff must know if you take your child off campus before the normal
dismissal time. Thank you for making
Gateway a secure and safe place for your child.

2006-07 Classes Filling Up
Enrollment continues for
all new and returning students for the coming 2006-2007 school year.. The 1st
grade class now has a waiting list to enroll. Registration is $250. Secure
your child’s enrollment while there is still a place in the classroom.
