Missions Week 2006

and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,

and in all Judea and Samaria,

and to the ends of the earth.   Acts 1:8b NIV

Beginning with these well-known words of Jesus, all Gateway students are getting involved this week in our annual Missions Week activities.  Our students will be challenged to become more aware of how Christians share the gospel of Jesus Christ with other non-western cultures.  Your child(ren) will also have opportunity to give an offering gift to our missionary Chapel speaker, Brian Raimondi, missionary to the Philippines, at the Wednesday Chapels, the Thursday Missions luncheon or on Friday at the final Chapel. In addition to our Thursday Luncheon, all students are encouraged to wear ethnic dress from other non-western countries (Students not in ethnic dress are required to wear their normal school uniform). Many thanks also to the PTF and Marissa Sipes who have planned and organized the Missions Luncheon. May all of these activities give your child(ren) a positive experience of living out the words of our Lord in Acts 1:8b!

                                                                                                Serving the Savior,

                                                                                                Mr. Stutzman
