This coming Tuesday night,

7:00-8:30 pm

January 31, 2006!

·  Parents come and see what great things your child(ren) are learning in the classroom

·  Visit your child(ren)’s next year classroom and meet the teacher

·  Pick-up your 2006-07 Priority Re-Enrollment Packet from the Golden Hill or Lighthouse Campus offices

·  Bring a new family and let them meet our great teachers and see our facilities

·  Enjoy lots of FREE ice cream and warm friendships with other families!

Spaghetti Dinner & Auction  Feb 6

Monday, February 6, 5:00-8:00pm

At the Golden Hills Campus

Take a night off from cooking! Come and enjoy a delicious meal!  Each GCS Family will receive a supply of tickets to purchase and to sell. Additional info. to follow. Your support will help the 8th Grade earn their trip to Washington, D.C.!

 

Priority Re-enrollment

2006-07!

All current students are invited to re-enroll February 1-21

for the coming 2006-2007 school year.

Re-enrollment applications and info will be available at the OPEN HOUSE January 31!

 

URGENT: 

Girl’s Volleyball Coach Needed DEADLINE:  Friday Jan 27!!

Practices:          Mon. & Wed.      3:15-4:30pm

Games:                     Tues. & Thurs.  (after school)

Season:              Feb. 7 to Mar. 7

Please contact Mr. Stutzman at 634-0493. The season will be cancelled if there is no coach.

 

Leopard Assembly Jan 31

All Gateway students will be attending the Leopard Assembly on Tuesday morning, January 31 at the Golden hills Campus gym.  K-2 Parents must drop off your child(ren) ONLY at the Golden Hills campus 8:00-8:15 am. Please refer to the instructions and drop-off map in the Family Envelope.  K-2 teachers and Room Moms are arranging return transportation to the LH Campus.  This will be a wonderful assembly for all!

 

OPEN HOUSE &

ICE CREAM SOCIAL Jan 31

All GCS students, families and interested new families are invited to attend this fun evening (Jan. 31, 7-8:30 pm) of visiting the classrooms, the teachers and enjoying lots of ice cream!  This will take place at each campus, so visit both and bring a new family to Gateway! 

PS- The ice cream is free to all who attend!!!

GCS Handbook Reminder

It is imperative that you pick up your student after school at the following times, or late pick-up fees will apply:

LH Campus:                                                                         Extended Day Late Fees apply after 5:00pm

Late Fees: $4 every 5 minutes for each child 

GH Campus:                                                                       Late Fees apply after 3:25pm

                      Late Fees: $4 every 5 minutes for each child

Help Mrs. Zamjahn

Mrs. Zamjahn needs parent volunteers to substitute for her lunch supervision so she can give extra practice time to the band students in preparation for the ACSI Band Festival.
