Three Winners
After the great successes of the Gateway events of the past three weeks, I am wonderfully encouraged that the LORD is re-shaping Gateway into a very solid school. Here's what I mean…
Spirit Week was fabulous fun for our students dressing up in theme costumes each day. The 6th-12th grades also enjoyed five days of exciting activities. As two teams, the Lions and the Hawks, students competed in "sumo" wrestling, balloon volleyball, a box lunch auction, zany dress and overall spirit. Congratulations to the Hawks who won Spirit Week. Thank you Mrs. McCormick for organizing it all!!

OPEN HOUSE & ICE CREAM SOCIAL was another hit. The teachers at the Lighthouse campus reported that there was a constant stream of new families inquiring about enrolling at Gateway. The same was true at the Golden Hills campus. Mrs. Zamjahn's Advanced Band serenaded everyone. And thank you to Loard's Ice Cream for supplying the ice cream.

Spaghetti Dinner Auction Fundraiser raised more funds for the 8th grade class trip to Washington, DC than anyone imagined. Thank you to auctioneer, Mr. Weinert, and to all who attended and purchased all of those wonderful cakes, donuts and other forbidden desserts. Everyone had a great time together.
Happy Valentine's Day!        Serving the Savior, Mr. Stutzman
