THE
MOVE Progress continues with moving
the K-2 modular classrooms from the Grace campus to
PTF The first PTF meeting of this year, under
the leadership of Ken Cuddihy, was a fun event. In addition the normal
introduction of officers (Lynn Stahli-Secretary, Melissa Kirk-Treasurer and
Gina Manzo-Fundraising Coordinator), Ken challenged all of us to become
volunteers in all aspects of Gateways activities. In Ken’s words, “Four people
(the officers) can’t do all of the tasks that need to get done.” I agree
completely with him. The students of

K-12 Hot
Lunch Update
Parent helpers still needed for Friday Hot Lunches.
We do not have any helpers for K-2. Helpers will be needed in order to have Hot
Lunch at K-2 campus (sign up sheet for K-2 is in the Grace office). Please contact Yvonne Hansen at 516-2934 if
you can help. .
The sales from Hot Lunch
will help our 8th grade students earn money for their trip to
Golf

Friday, September 23,
will be the last day to submit any phone, address, or e-mail changes for the final draft of our
School Directory. Each Gateway family will be receiving a School Directory
In addition, if you do not currently have
e-mail with Gateway, please contact the main office at 634-0493. Remember,
e-mail is another great way for us to communicate important information to you!

Dough Fundraiser Coming Soon!
GCS Cookie Dough
Fundraiser begins October 3. There will be kick off assemblies held at both campuses
that morning. Keep your eye on The Gate. More information to follow!

Recognition
Chapel Location Change
We have decided to change back to the following
locations for Recognition Chapel:
All K -5th Grade students will be at Grace Campus
for Recognition Chapels. 3rd-5th Graders
will report
directly to Grace Campus
by 8:15am.
Parent drivers will be
needed to transport 3rd-5th
Reminder: our first K-5 Recognition Chapel will
be on Wednesday, October 5
For Weekly Chapels, 3rd-5th will
remain at GHCC.
6th-12th Graders will remain at GHCC Campus.

new Jr.\Sr. High elective class called Desktop Publishing. This class will play
a large role in constructing the 2005/2006 yearbook!
